Goolpahjo Park adds a home for local cricket and AFL
A sporting milestone in South Ripley, with competition use subject to turf establishment.
Stockland announced the opening of Goolpahjo (Harry Thompson Senior) Park on 20 July 2026. The precinct off Harmony Crescent includes an AFL field, cricket facilities, training nets and amenities.
The announcement identifies Central Kookaburras as the inaugural summer cricket leaseholder. It also says the playing surface would need time to establish before regular competition use began.
An opening celebration is not a current fixture list. Confirm training, registrations and match availability with the relevant club before visiting.
