Ripley Road intersection upgrade completed
Council confirms the $3.6 million project at Reif Street, Flinders View, is complete.
Ipswich City Council announced the completion of the Ripley Road and Reif Street intersection upgrade on 10 September 2026. The Flinders View junction serves the route between Ripley Valley and central Ipswich.
The $3.6 million project includes improvements to the four-way signalised intersection and a dedicated left-turn and merge lane at the Cunningham Highway interchange.
Council said traffic-signal sequencing would continue to be adjusted in the weeks following completion. It also described the project as complementary to the separate Ripley Road and Fischer Road upgrades.
The intersection project was jointly funded by Council and the Queensland Government’s South East Queensland Community Stimulus Program. Check current road conditions before travelling; this report is a summary of Council’s announcement, not a live traffic service.
